COLORING WITH COPIC MARKERS

Copic Markers are permanent, solvent-based markers that blend beautifully and color with deep saturation and vivid coloration.  Harriet has been experimenting with these markers and she will share many tips and tricks for successful coloring stamped images with these markers.  She will be using Rubber Moon stamps designed by Dave Brethauer. If you have Copic markers, please bring them to class.

NOTE:  Because this class will be more of a workshop and we will be sharing markers, the samples at the left are presented for illustration purposes only.

Spellbinders four new Pierceabilities Dies not only cut paper, but give you a guide for paper piercing as well.  Felicity has designed three mini cards to introduce you to these very versatile and very beautiful dies.  She has made many other cards with them and she will show you all the ways to use them to their fullest.  If you have any of the dies, please bring them and your Wizard or die cutting machine to class.  Sign up soon as this class is limited to 6.  We will offer a Pierceabilities Class 2 on March 28.

GET WELL SOON QUARTET

Be prepared to cheer a sick friend by making this get well quartet.  We will use a bit of paper engineering and some cute stamps from Lockhart Stamp Company to create a gift set that includes chicken soup, tissues, chocolate and a get well card.  Techniques you will learn include working with Wizard dies, the Just Rite Stamper and scoring on the Mini Scor It, and coloring with Prismacolor Pencils.

STAMPING AND COLORING BOLD FLORAL STAMPS

– Many new stampers are baffled when it comes to working with solid stamps.  Let Felicity show you how to easily transform a solid image into a colorful image.  Techniques you will learn include coloring with inks and Tombow markers, THE Kissing, Brilliance Resist and Faux Batik techniques. Welcome Spring by making a few colorful floral cards!

CREATING BACKGROUNDS WITH MEMENTO INKS

Learn to create dramatic backgrounds using Memento dye-based inks and jumbo finger daubers. We will make the two samples featuring birds to the left; the other samples pictured use the same technique. We will also make a ribbon charm to hang on the bookmark (second sample at left).

For this class you will need 6 Memento ink pads and 3 jumbo daubers which you can purchase for the discounted price of $20. Register early as this class may sell out.

AN ORNATE CHRISTMAS

I know it’s only March, but you will thank yourself in December if you attend this class now.  You will make three Christmas cards using Inkadinkado’s “Ornate Christmas” clear stamp set.  We will use the Wizard die-cut machine to a card a unique shape and add lots of glitter and glitz. Plus I will show you how to take a card from good to better to best.

WELCOME SPRING

For this class, I challenged myself to create a set of cards using as many images as I could from the Memory Box Bugs and Blooms set.  With the addition of a few of images from Hero Arts, I made four clever cards that capture the color and whimsy of spring.  Join me in celebrating spring and learning about shrink plastic, clear stamps and various types of inks.

PIERCEABILITIES 2

Let Felicity show you how to take the new Pierceabilities Dies to the next level.  Pierceabilities not only cut paper but give you a guide for piercing paper too.  Learn more about working with these dies in this fun class. You will need to have at leat two of the dies for this class; bring them and your Wizard or other die cut machine to class.  You need not have taken Pierceabilities Class 1 on March 7 to take this class, but we suggest you do so. 

The cards at left are examples of the type of card you will make in class.  The type and number will be determined by the number of Pieceabilities die we have to use in the class.
